Yelling from the bathroom while brushing their teeth: Peyton: “Mom, Carter just spit toothpaste on my arm!” Carter: “But Peyton, I thought you was the sink!” September 9, 2009 Over breakfast: Peyton: “I think girls are cute, but I’m not their boy toy!” Septemer 18, 2009 While watching a racing show on TV: Carter: (Laughing) “He said ‘I like fast cars and hot lemon.’ “ Peyton: (disgusted) “Carter, he said hot WOMEN, not hot LEMON!” September 24, 2009 While fixing dinner: Peyton: “Dad, can I have some toucans on there?” Me: “Toucans? What do you mean?” Peyton: “Not toucans. I mean pecans.” Me: “Do you mean croutans?” Peyton: “You know what I mean! I want croutans on my salad.” October 1, 2009
